Jorge Nicolás "El Pipa" Higuaín (born June 8, 1957 in Buenos Aires) is a former Argentine football central defender. He played for Boca Juniors, River Plate, San Lorenzo, and Stade Brestois 29, at that time in French top division.
He is married to Nancy Zacarías, an artist[1] with whom he has four sons: Nicolás, Federico, Gonzalo and Lautaro. [2] His two middle sons followed in their father's footsteps as professional footballers and began their careers at River Plate. Federico now plays for the Major League Soccer team Columbus Crew while Gonzalo is a star striker for the Serie A team Juventus F. C.
Higuaín also holds a French passport.
